There are a number of ways Davell is able to meet the high standards of quality product stewardship.
Recycling holds major importance at the company; if something is able to be reused, rest assured it will be. At no additional cost to the customer, the factory return of all Davell products at the end of their lifecycle is accepted, specifically for the purpose of disassembly and recycling.
Once disassembled, different materials are sent to various places to optimise their reuse. Steel carcasses and steel panels/components are directed to OneSteel Recycling for smelting.
Any aluminium elements will also be sent to OneSteel Recycling to be remelted and reused.
Plastic materials will either be directly reused by Davell, dependent on their condition, or sent to Australian Plastic Profiles to be correctly recycled.
