Flexible Operating Modes
The locking system is configured via the ECHO Mobile App or a central web portal into three distinct operation states.
- Public Mode: Designed for shared environments like gym or leisure centre lockers where any casual user can walk up, claim and lock a vacant compartment
- Private Mode: Assigns exclusive, long-term locker access to a specific staff member or student
- Registered Public Use Mode: Limits usage to pre-approved visitors who must register or accept an email invitation before accessing the hardware
