We were given a Davell cabinet clothes dryer from our grandparents 40+ years ago which would have to be 60+ years old now and it still works great.

We were delighted to receive this email recently from a Davell Products’ satisfied owner who appreciates durability.
Intrigued, we asked for more details about the item – purchased by the grandparents of a Sutherland Shire resident about half a century ago. It moved with the resident to various NSW and Queensland locations over the years, “mostly near saltwater too”, and has ended up on a tropical Queensland island, where it “gets a workout in the wet seasons especially”.
While not every Davell product has the remarkable backstory of this particular item, we are still manufacturing locally in the same way and our long-lasting goods have been ‘getting a workout’ for decades in homes, schools and workplaces around Australia.
Davell’s Managing Director, Brenton Gray confirms, “Since 1946, when started by my wife’s grandfather, Davell’s philosophy has always been to make a quality product, I am still following that mantra today.”
At Davell Products we source quality materials from Australian owned or operated companies. We use the latest CNC Sheet metal fabricating machinery along with our recently commissioned ‘state of the art’ powder coat line, however, the main ingredient to producing quality products is our dedicated workforce. Everything is manufactured from start to finish in our factory at Kirrawee NSW, the same location as the original business.
