2023 has been Davell’s busiest year, with many customers returning to quality Australian-Made products which is good news for our business and employees.
We are great supporters of our Emergency Services organisations. This year, we have seen significant demand from Police, Fire & Rescue, Ambulance and the SES. We work with each organisation to provide fit for purpose products and innovations, for example our Locker Mobile Base. This trolley allows lockers to be moved to locations that best suit available spaces in busy emergency service stations and headquarters.
We have had many orders for school lockers and mobile phone storage solutions following the implementation of mobile phone bans in state schools across NSW, Victoria, Western Australia, Tasmania, and South Australia, with Queensland to follow in 2024.
The newest addition to our range is our Mobile Phone Cabinets with either 32 or 48 compartments.
As a trusted provider of school storage solutions, our lockers and cabinets have proven to be the perfect solution for teacher controlled security in classrooms.
There has also been strong demand for charging lockers, which is an area we are expanding to meet the growing demand. Some of our new products include iPad and Tablet Charging Lockers and Phone Charging Lockers.
Davell is always investing in new machinery to keep ahead of our competition, and in August this year we replaced our ageing 2005 Amada EM2510NT Turret Punch with the latest Amada EMK3510EM2 machine.
This machine upgrade has given us greater punching tonnage, faster tool changeovers, updated operating software and the latest safety features all contributing to faster delivery of products to market.
Davell’s office will be closed for the Christmas/New Year period from midday Friday 22nd December and re-open at 8.30am on Monday 8th January 2024.
I would like to thank our customers for their support throughout this year and wish everyone a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year.
